About

I feel grateful to have discovered a career that I continue to love after 15 years in practice serving clients and their families.

In 2003, I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from U.C. Berkeley, and in 2007, I earned a master’s degree in Communication Disorders & Sciences from California State University Northridge. Practicing in the South Bay for the last 12 years has allowed me to develop a deep professional network and understanding of our local schools and services.

One of my professional passions is cleft palate, and I proudly serve as a speech therapist on the Providence St. John’s Cleft Palate Team and the Orthopedic Institute of California’s Cleft Palate Team.

Parenting two young children has deepened my understanding of the joys and challenges families encounter as they work to support their loved ones to function at their full potential. It has helped me grow in my professional practice by boosting my creativity and critical thinking, and helping me see firsthand how tremendous skill growth can result from the help of therapeutic professionals and small, long-term changes at home. In my free time, you’ll likely find me in the children’s section of my library, playing beach volleyball, or cheering for UCLA Women’s Gymnastics.

Experienced Torrance speech pathologist with American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certificate of clinical competence (CCC).
Specialist in cleft palate speech disorders and resonance disorders.
